Working Principle: 

SZG Vacuum Tumble Dryer (or Vacuum tumble reactor) is indirect-heating vacuum tumble dryer. The cylindrical drying chamber has heat jacket which can be filled with steam or thermal oil for heating. Agitation paddles are welded inside the drying chamber to enhance the mixing effect. 

During the operation, the cylindrical drying chamber rotates at low speed to continuously mix and renew the wet material in contact with the heated wall. Nitrogen can be introduced into the drying chamber to prevent the raw material from oxidation. The evaporated moisture is sucked out by the vacuum pump. If the evaporated moisture needs to be recovered, tubular condenser and receiving tank can be installed.

Technical Features: 

  • Versatile application: The central body is a skewed cylindrical chamber which can rotates with different speed and direction. Except drying or extracting solvents, it also can be used as an effective fast blender or homogenizer.
  • High-temperature design: The working temperature can be as high as 280 ℃ and the whole system is well insulated for safety and reduce heat-loss. 
  • Oxygen-free heating condition: The high vacuum condition eliminates oxygen and nitrogen can be introduced into the drying chamber to prevents formation of unwanted secondary compounds or potential exposion.
  • Fast and uniform heating: Different type and quantity of agitation paddle can be welded inside the cylindrical chamber to enhance the mixing and renew the material in contact with the heated wall. 
  • PLC programable heating process: The heating process can be programmed via PLC to set the heating rate and time.

Q: What information is needed in order to get a quote? 

A: Our SSP Vacuum Tumble Dryer is customized according to specific raw material, drying capacity, heating temperature etc . The following information is needed to work out a detailed quote:

1) Raw material name, bulk density and particle size etc. Samples might be needed for trial production or drying tests. 

2) If for drying: moisture content before drying; target moisture content in dried product. 

3) Drying capacity/input in kg/batch? 

4) Heating temperature? 

5) Power supply type. 220V/380V/415V/440V, 50/60Hz, three phase. 

Q: What is your normal lead time? 

A: All our machines are customized. The normal lead time is 40-50 days after receiving the advance payment.

Q: How the machine is packed?

A: The machine is packed in standard plywood box; 

Q: What kind of after-sale service can you provide? 

A: 1)  All our machines are fully tested before shipping. Detailed operation manual, which includes photos, installation & operation videos, layout drawings, electric drawings etc. is delivered with the machine. So the end-user can easily install and operate the machine. 

2) In response to cutomer's invitation, technicians can be sent to the end-user's workshop for installation, commissioning and training.
