Working Principle:

Double Cone Tumble Mixer is ideal for highly accurate and fast mixing of free-flowing powders, granules and other solids in various industries. The mixing vessel consists of two cone-shaped sections welded at their base to a central cylindrical section. This unique tumbling chamber offers rapid and low-impact blending of free-flowing solids. 

Raw materials are fed into the mixing vessel via the feed port manually or by vacuum conveyor. The loading rate is usually about 50% of the mixing vessel volume. Through mechanical transmission, the double cone vessel rotates with the shaft, which constantly displace, turn over and intermix the raw materials for rapid and intimate mixing. Normal cycle time is typically about 10-15 minutes. 

Double Cone Tumble Mixer is comonly used to produce homogeneous solid-solid mixture for industries such as food, cosmetics, pharmaceutical, chemical, nutritional, agrochemical and plastics. 

Technical Features:

• The double cone mixing vessel is made by SUS304 or SUS316L and mirror polished both inner and outer shell for high sanitary standards. 
• The double cone mixing vessel has no blind angle for cleaning and accumulation of materials.
• Support frame made by stainless steel square tube, which is robust and compact.
• Working volume ranges from 20L to 2000L.
• Vaccum conveyor can be used for feeding and discharging.
• Intensifier bar can be installed for high-shear mixing and lump breaking. 
• Safety railings with limit switch can be assembled. 
• Spray nozzle can be installed inside the mixing vessel for adding minor liquid ingredients in the process of mixing.
