Working Principle: 

CH Sigma Arm Mixer ( also called Sigma Blade Kneader or Z Blade Mixer) is a horizontal trough mixer with single or double sigma blade, which is commonly used for mixing liquid with powder to prepare consistent wet mass or knead thick paste/dough with low and medium viscosity in food and chemical industry.

CH Sigma Arm Mixer consists of a horizontal trough, single or double sigma blade, drive motor, tilt motor and support frame. Raw material is gravity fed into the mixing trough. The rotating sigma blades strongly stir and knead the raw material for uniform mixing. After mixing, tilt the mixing trough to unload the mixed product. Heating jacket can be installed around the mixing trough to heat up the raw material or keep the temperature of mixed product. 

Technical Features: 

• Robust, simple and compact design requires minimum maintenance;
• Made by SUS304 or SUS316 and mirror polished to meet food-grade or GMP sanitary standard;
• Special drive shaft sealing design can 100% make sure contamination free of product;
• The gap between sigma blade and interior wall of mixing trough is less than 3mm;
• Single or double sigma blade are avaiable according to specific raw material and application; 
• Electric heating jacket can be installed around the mixing trough to heat up the raw material or keep the temperature of mixed product.
