Working Principle:

XZL Rotary Basket Granulator is the most commonly used wet granulation machine by extrusion with lowest pressure. The wet mix, which is typically prepared in a sigma kneader or high shear mixer, is gravity fed into the granulator and wiped through a round perforated screen by the rotating extrusion blades to make cylindrical extrudates of a controlled diameter. Cutters can be installed outside the screen to cut the extrudates into uniform length. The granules falls onto a discharge chute or a rotating table ( when cuters are installed) for discharge to the next processing step. 

XZL Rotary Basket Granulator is extentively used for making cylindrical instant granules (0.8-3mm in diameter) in agrochemical industry (WDG and WSG) , food industry (chicken essence, instant herbal tea granules etc.) and pharmaceutical industry. 

Technical Features:

• Rotary basket granulator is the lowest pressure extruder available. The granules have good solubility due to not fully compacted. 
• All the extrusion parts are made by SUS304 or SUS316L stainless steel and can be easily dismantled for cleaning. 
• Special drive shaft sealing design can 100% make sure contamination free of product.
