Working Principle: 

Microwave Vacuum Drying combines microwave and vacuum technologies into one machine to achieve unique advantages in drying process. Vacuum can considerably lower the boiling point of moisture or solvent, which makes low-temperature drying highly effective and energy-saving. Microwave heating is very fast, uniform and selective. Through microwave vacuum drying, high product quality can be achieved due to low temperature and rapid energy transfer. 

MD Microwave Vacuum Dryer is a kind of batch vacuum drying oven with built-in microwave generators. PTFE trays loaded with raw materials are placed on a rotary rack inside the drying oven. Microwaves penerate the wet materials and convert into heat from inside. The moisture turns into vapor and sucked out by the vacuum pump. 

MD Microwave Vacuum Dryer is the ideal drying method for heat-sensitive and / or oxygen-sensitive materials in food, chemical and pharmaceutical industry, especially those wet materials which require very uniform and precise heating to preserve the original natures. Such as, food product, herbal extract, fine chemicals etc. 

Technical Features: 

  • Compact design: The square vacuum oven requires minimum installation and operation space. 
  • Fast and uniform drying: By using microwave energy, heat is generated inside the product volume by directly transforming the electromagnetic energy into molecular kinetic energy. Compared to conventional drying methods, which mean heating from the outside to the inside by heat conduction, microwave heating is much faster, uniform and selective. 
  • Low-temperature drying: Vacuum can considerably lower the boiling point of moisture or solvent, which makes low-temperature drying highly effective and energy-saving. 
  • GMP design: The vacuum oven is made by SUS304 or SUS316L stainless steel and mirror polished without blind angle for cleaning to meet GMP sanitary standard.
  • Versatile applications: The configuration of MD microwave vacuum dryer ranges from lab-scale to industrial dryer.

Q: What information is needed in order to get a quote? 

A: Our Microwave Vacuum Dryer is customized according to specific raw material and drying capacity etc . The following information is needed to work out a detailed quote:

1) Raw material name, bulk density and particle size etc. Samples might be needed for trial production or drying tests. 

2) Moisture content before drying; target moisture content in dried product. 

3) Load capacity in kg/batch? 

4) Suggested drying temperature 

5) Power supply type. 220V/380V/415V/440V, 50/60Hz, three phase. 

Q: What is your normal lead time? 

A: All our machines are customized. The normal lead time is 40-50 days after receiving the advance payment.

Q: How the machine is packed?

A: The machine is packed in standard plywood box; 

Q: What kind of after-sale service can you provide? 

A: 1)  All our machines are fully tested before shipping. Detailed operation manual, which includes photos, installation & operation videos, layout drawings, electric drawings etc. is delivered with the machine. So the end-user can easily install and operate the machine. 

2) In response to cutomer's invitation, technicians can be sent to the end-user's workshop for installation, commissioning and training.
