Working Principle: 

DW Mesh Belt Dryer is a continuous convective dryer of which the drying of product takes place on ventilated conveyor belts. It's commonly used for drying granular and flake materials in various industries, such as wet extrudate, pellets, chips and other granular bulk materials. 

After being evenly fed onto the top layer of conveyor belt, raw material is transported to the other end of the drying chamber and drops onto the beneath belt, which carries the raw material and moves in the opposite direction until it drops onto the bottom belt. At the same time, hot air is forced to evenly flow through the raw material on each layer of belt for uniform drying.

Different types of hot air flow parttern, belt layer (1-5 layers) and mesh belt can be specially designed according to specific raw material and working condition to optimize the drying efficiency.

Technical Features: 

  • Fast and uniform drying: Wet material can be evenly fed onto the whole belt via the feed system, and hot air is forced to evenly fow through the wet material by circulation fans and air distrubutor. 
  • Energy-saving: The drying chamber is well heat-insulated and the design of forced circulation of hot air minimize the heat loss in the drying process. 
  • Versatile in application: Different types of mesh belt are available and the drying time (residence time) is adjustable from 30 minutes to 2 hours. Various kinds of wet material can be well dried no matter the differences in moisture content or particle size.  
  • Flexibility in heat source: The heat source can be electricity, steam, hot thermal oil or oil/gas fired hot air generator. 
  • Customized design: Hot air flow-pattern, number of belt layer (1-5 layers) and belt type are all customized according to specific raw material and working condition to optimize the drying efficiency.

Note: The built-in heat source can be electric heating elements or steam heat exchanger. When use steam heat exchanger, the max drying temperature is about 140 ℃.

Q: What information is needed in order to get a quote? 

A: Our Belt Dryer is customized according to specific raw material, drying capacity, heat source etc . The following information is needed to work out a detailed quote:

1) Raw material name, bulk density and particle size etc. Samples might be needed for trial production or drying tests. 

2) Moisture content before drying; target moisture content in dried product. 

3) Drying capacity/input in kg/h? 

4) Heat source: steam, electricity or gas/oil fired hot air generator. 

5) Suggested drying temperature 

6) Power supply type: 220V/380V/415V/440V, 50/60Hz, three phase. 

Q: What is your normal lead time? 

A: All our machines are customized. The normal lead time is 40-50 days after receiving the advance payment.

Q: How the machine is packed?

A: The machine is packed in standard plywood box; 

Q: What kind of after-sale service can you provide? 

A: 1)  All our machines are fully tested before shipping. Detailed operation manual, which includes photos, installation & operation videos, layout drawings, electric drawings etc. is delivered with the machine. So the end-user can easily install and operate the machine. 

2) In response to cutomer's invitation, technicians can be sent to the end-user's workshop for installation, commissioning and training. 

3) Provide life-long technical consultation and favorable spare parts.
