Working Principle: 

FL Fluid Bed Dryer Granulator is a batch type top spray powder granulation/agglomeration processor which has been widely used in pharmaceutical, chemical and foodstuff industry. It combines drying and granulating into one machine. So, it's also called " One-step Granulator". Granules produced by this method are highly porous and quick solvable, which is widely used in various industries. 

Raw materil (free-flowing dry powder) is loaded in the granulating bowl of which the bottom is made by perforated plate. Clean hot air flows through the perforated plate to completely fluidize the material. Meanwhile, liquid binder is sprayed onto the fluidized material from the top. Fine powder collides with droples and stick together to form granules or agglomerates with good flowability and instant solubility. 

Technical Features: 

• GMP Sanitary design: Made by SUS304 or SUS316L stainless steel and 150 grit exterior finish, mirror finish on internal surfaces. The drying/granulating chamber has no blind angle for cleaning. 
• High efficieny air filter: The air filter consists of primary stage, secondary stage and high efficiency stage air filter and the air cleanliness can reach 100,000 grade;
• Two-bag-filter-chamber system: The top bag filtering system has two chambers which work alternately to avoid air pressure onto the filter bag. The product rate can reach 99%. 
• Accurate air flow control: The exhaust fan is combined with VFD inverter to accurately control the air flow rate for achieving perfect fluidization. 
• Explosion-proof design: Granulation chamber is equipment with pressure release valve. When the pressure inside the chamber is getting higher than the rated one, the valve will open to release the pressure

A: Our FL Fluid Bed Dryer Granulator is customized according to specific raw material, process capacity, heat source etc . The following information is needed to work out a detailed quote:

1) Raw material name, bulk density and particle size etc. Samples might be needed for trial production or drying tests. 

2) Target moisture content in dried product. 

3) Process capacity/input in kg/batch. 

4) What heat source will be used: Steam or electricity.
