Working Principle: 

SZG Double Cone Rotary Vacuum Dryer is indirect-heating vacuum tumble dryer. The bi-conical drying chamber has heat jacket which can be filled with hot water, steam or thermal oil for heating. 

During the operation, the bi-conical drying chamber rotates at low speed to continuously mix and renew the wet material in contact with the heated wall. Lump breaker can be installed on the drying chamber to disintegrate the lumps for uniform drying. The evaporated moisture is sucked out by the vacuum pump. If the evaporated moisture needs to be recovered, tubular condenser and receiving tank can be installed. 

SZG Double Cone Rotary Vacuum Dryer is widely used to dry wet powders and granular raw materials in food, chemical and pharmaceutical industry, especially heat-sensitive or oxygen-sensitive raw materials. 

Technical Features: 

• Versatile application: The central body is a bi-conical chamber which can rotates with different speed and direction. Except drying or extracting solvents, it also can be used as an effective fast blender or homogenizer.
• GMP sanitary design: The drying chamber is made according to GMP standard which is mirror polished, no blind angle for washing or cleaning and safe for both operators and products.
• Multi-product: The drying chamber can be lined with glass or enamel interior surface for high corrosive materials. 
• Fast and uniform drying: High speed cutter (or lump breaker) can be equipped to break the lumps or agglomerates for fast and uniform drying. 
• Effective filtering system: The vacuum filtering unit can perfectly filter out the powder and just let solvent vapors go through with very low pressure drop.
