Working Principle: 

GFG Batch Fluid Bed Dryer is used to dry free-flowing wet powders and granular bulk materials in food, chemical and pharmaceutical industries. This design is known for it's compact size, enhanced drying capacity and sanitary operation condition. 

Batch Fluid Bed Dryer mainly consists of top filter chamber, drying bowl with rake agitator, bottom air chamber with steam radiator or electric heater, draft fan and control cabinet. Ambient air is sucked into the bottom air chamber by the draft fan to get required temperature, then flows through the drying bowl on which wet materials are loaded. Under the effect of strong air stream and rotating agitator, wet materials are perfectly fluidized. Moisture evaporates very fast because of thorough contact and heat transfer between hot air and wet material. At the top of the dryer, bag filter is installed to separate fine particles from the exhausted damp air.

• Fast and uniform drying: The conic drying bowl with rake agiator can perfectly fluidize wet material for fast and uniform drying.
• Flexibility in heat source: The heat source can be steam, hot water, electricity, thermal oil, oil/gas/biomass fired hot air generator to cater for different working conditions.
• GMP sanitary design: The drying chamber is made by SUS304 or SUS316L stainless steel and mirror polished without blind angle for cleaning to meet GMP sanitary standard.

Q: What information is needed in order to get a quote? 

A: Our batch fluid bed dryer is customized according to specific raw material, drying capacity, heat source etc . The following information is needed to work out a detailed quote:

1) Raw material name, bulk density and particle size etc. Samples might be needed for trial production or drying tests. 

2) Moisture content before drying; target moisture content in dried product. 

3) Drying capacity/input in kg/h? 

4) Heat source: steam, electricity or gas/oil fired hot air generator. 

5) Suggested drying temperature 

6) Power supply type: 220V/380V/415V/440V, 50/60Hz, three phase. 

Q: What is your normal lead time? 

A: All our machines are customized. The normal lead time is 40-50 days after receiving the advance payment.

A: The machine is packed in standard plywood box;
