Working Principle:

SZL Axial Extruder Granulator is double screw extruder used to make large extrudates from 2-8mm. The wet mix, which is typically prepared in a sigma kneader or high shear mixer, is gravity fed into the hopper by hand or feeder. The twin screws transport the wet mix to the extrusion zone where it is then wiped through a perforated axial die plate to produce well-formed cylindrical extrudates of a controlled diameter.  The extrudates break off by their own weight and are collected for the next processing step. And cutters can be installed near the die plate to cut the extrudate into uniform length.

SZL Axial Extruder Granulator has high extrusion pressure, which is ideal for making compacted cylindrical granules (2-8mm in diameter) in agrochemical industry, food industry and fertilizer industry. 

Technical Features:

• Axial extruder granulator has high extrusion pressure, so the extrudate is fully compacted.
• The hole size of perforated axial die plate can be 2-8 mm. And it's very easy to change the die. 
• All the extrusion parts are made by SUS304 or SUS316L stainless steel and can be easily dismantled for cleaning.
