GB Dip Feed Drum Dryer ( also called Roller Dryer) is the most commonly used drying method for viscous liquid, slurry or suspension from various industries. The dip feed drum dryer consists of  hot drum, drum drive system, feed tray, scraper blade, back application roller, exhaust hood and screw conveyor. 

Raw material (viscous liquid, slurry or suspension) is pumped into the bottom feed tray, so that the rotary hot drum can dip into the liquid material with controlled depth. Liquid material sticks to the hot drum and applied by the back applicator roller to form an uniform thin layer on the drum surface. With fast and uniform heat transfer, the thin layer is dried in a single rotation of the drum. The dried product  is scraped off by the blade and the vapor is sucked out by the draft fan. 

Technical Features: 

• The drying process only takes about 5-10 seconds within a single rotation of the drum, which is not only suitable for drying heat sensitive materials, but can also preserve the original taste and texture;
• Heat loss is mainly caused by heat radiation. Thermal efficiency can reach as high as 90%;
• Robust, simple and compact design requires minimum maintenance and small installation space; 
• The drum is made by alloy steel with high mechanical strength and the drum surface is hard chrome plated to futher increase the hardness. The max working pressure can be 10 bars; 
• The entire hot drum is installed in a stainless steel housing for safety and avoiding contamination;
• The drum rotation speed is adjustable via VFD to control the drying time;
• The heat medium can be steam, hot thermal oil or hot water.

A: Our dip feed drum dryer is customized according to specific raw material, drying capacity, heat medium etc . The following information is needed to work out a detailed quote:

1) Raw material name, viscosity, flowability etc. Samples might be needed for trial production or drying tests. 

2) Moisture content before drying; target moisture content in dried product. 

3) Drying capacity/input in kg/h? 

4) What heating medium will be used for drying? Steam, hot thermal oil, hot water etc. 

5) Suggested drying temperature

A: All our machines are customized. The normal lead time is 40-50 days after receiving the advance payment.

A: The machine is packed in standard plywood box;
